According to Taiwan Economic and cultural office that Taiwan visa will be free for filipino citizen starting November 2017. To those filipino na gustong mag travel sa Taiwan, you can only stay up to 14days so ano pang hinihintay niyo? Leggo to Taiwan na!
If you will travel in Taipei for a short period of time, these are the best places that i can suggest for your travel itinerary:) i’ll also discuss about how you can go to Taipei main station from Taoyuan airport. Feel free to read my blog:)
From Taoyuan airport to Taipei main station guide
From the date of your arrival usually ang flights going to taiwan is super late hours na especially when you book ticket from Airasia ,kaya pag dating niyo ng Taoyuan airport madaling araw na. So you can choose your ride, either taxi or bus.
Bus: If your flight happen to arrive in Terminal 1, you can go to B1 arrival and for the bus #1819. This but is going to Taipei main station. But if your flight arrive at Terminal2 just go at the northeast arcade of the 1st floor Arrivals lobby and wait for the same bus #1819 going to Taipen main station.
Taxi: If you prefer to ride taxi, you can find in all the arrival halls of the both terminal. Taxi’s are available 24hrs in Taoyuan airport but a little bit cossy. Taxi pare cost is about 1,100NT$ to 1,200$.
Place to stay in Taipei
Les Suites Grandee
No.102 Wenlin Road , Shilin Night Market, Taipei, Taiwan
To all traveller who pefer to stay near in Shilin Night market, i can recommend “Les suites grandee hotel”, not so expensive hotel and very accomodating staff. The Location is very convenient and only 5minutes walk going to Shillin night market . Later i’ll discuss you about this. So if you want to book in this hotel and check the room rate just click this page to book in Agoda.
If you wish to stay in cheaper room you can book many backpackers hostel in Taipei na walking distance lang sa mga tourist spot. I assure you its really affordabble for your budget cause the room rate starts at 900NT$ (about 1,500PHP). But reminders lang po those backpackers hotel are not like the other normal hotel kasi this is a Hostel and they called it sharing room na parang dorm. You can check out the room cost in Agoda and book your choice. So goodluck 🙂
What to do in 3days Taipei
National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial hall
Located at No. 21, Zhongshan South Road, Zhongzheng district, Taipei City, Taiwan
Thins Memorial Hall is one of the tourist attraction in Taipei. Base on my research they based the name of this place from the memory of Chiang Kai-Shek the former president of the republic of china.
This place is really worth to visit kasi as in super nice and napakalwak na lugar. I can say na pwede mong ubusin yung one whole day mo sa pag tambay lang dito, but no sayang padin ang time hehe kaya go ka pa sa ibang tourist spot nila (charot) … Madami ka ding makikitang Monge’s who try to meditate outside even there’s a lot of people who’s watching, ay grabe di ko na nga keri ang mag meditate how much more sa harap pa ng maraming tao but then they are Monge after all kaya keri lang nila yun.
There’s a time also na they play some song(i think it’s their National Anthem) then the Taiwanese people will suddenly stop to give respect for their country song, Just like us in Philippines so we should pay some respects too when it happens.
Shillin night market
Located at No. 101, Jihe Road, Shilin District, Taipei City, Taiwan
One of the best night market in Taipei na you shouldn’t miss because of the food food food haha oo yes FOOD. The Taiwanese cuisine here are all really yummy and fresh na sa sobrang daming pag pipilian eh hindi mo na alam kung ano yung oorderin mo..
Buying your pasalubong (souvenirs) here are amazing din kasi the price is not so different from the price in Philippines. Kaya what are you waiting for guys pasok na, bili na!
Pa games ni mayor like Perya in Philippines. All out enjoy talaga and remind ko lang hindi lang sa loob yung mga vendors kasi there’s a lot of side walk vendors din basta lahat sila friendly!
Located at Jishan Street, Ruifang District, New Taipei City, Taiwan
Jiufen old street, this is the most tourist spot na dinadayo talaga ng mga turista. You can witness the wonderful veiw before you enter the old street of Jiufen kaya pwede ka munang mag take ng pictures over the view. Make sure to try their traditional Stinky tofu sa street vendors ng jiufen to complete you perfect travel in Taiwan
Wanna know how to go to Jiufen? Just kindly click my blog From Taipei to Jiufen guide.
Tour around beitou by walking, madami kang mapupuntahan in half day tour sa Beitou and Hot spring is the most popular spot in this place. You can also see a public Hot spring na naglalakad ka palang sa tabi nito ramdam mo na yung init parang sa Japan Hakone pwede ka ng mag boil ng egg sa sobrang init. But no one is allowed to soak in his hot spring cause the Temperature is really hot na hindi maganda sa katawan.
If you wanna know more about Beitou District just visit my blog Half day tour in Beitou District.
Yangminshan National Park
Nung una hindi namen alam kung pano kame sasakay ng bus going to this place but ofcourse we have our internet data kaya ginamit namin yung google map to get in this place. Worth it ang pagod ng paglalakad mo dito sa lugar na to dahil ang ganda ng view and super friendly ng mga Taiwanese. kaya dont forget to visit this place when you travel in Taipei.
Located at No. 211, Guangzhou Street, Wanhua District, Taipei City, Taiwan
Lungshan Temple, when you enter in this temple they will give you free insenso to pray and wish for what ever you want. Ako kasi i believe in temple’s kaya we didn’t missed our chances to visit here, but it doesnt mean na porket naniniwala na ko sa temple ay hindi na ko naniniwala kay God kaya, kanya kanyang trip lang yan hehe 😛
Wanhua Night Market
Located siya outside the temple of Longshan
After niyo mag wish and pray in Longshan Temple you can go to Wanhua night market para mag shopping ng pasalubong for your families and friends. Masarap yung mga street foods nila dito and ofcourse to all Night market’s in Taiwan.
